Scott Watson is Director of Investor Relations for OneAscent Capital. He has more than 30 years experience in investments, operations, business development, sales and mergers and acquisitions.
He is Principal of The C=C Bond Group.
The C=C Bond Group provides strategic and tactical advisory consulting services, board roles, and interim executive roles.
Scott is passionate about various philanthropic endeavors and is a member of the Samaritan's Purse International Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART). A DART team member typically deploys for up to 3 weeks at a time to various parts of the world in support of various International Disasters.
Prior to The C=C Bond Group, Scott held sales and leadership positions with Eastman Chemical Company, Durect Corporation, DSM, Benuvia Manufacturing and AMPAC Fine Chemicals. In addition, Scott spent 5 years working with a Private Equity firm doing leveraged transactions.
A 1983 graduate of the US Naval Academy, Scott completed Qualifications as a Naval Nuclear Engineer and developed his leadership skills serving as an officer aboard a US submarine. He earned his MBA from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Scott is happily married to his wife Lynne and they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren - leaving little time for other hobbies!
